We honor all people. Our Savior loves us and calls us to love one another. God has placed it in our hearts to do a good work for those in need. Our focus is the Alief community for now. The above video was made in 1998 when Mr. Hunter became the Director of a family shelter in Columbus, Ohio, the same shelter where he and his family were former clients.

WHY ARE WE HERE?
The Aloe Vera plant represents healing. Restoration House Of Houston has a mission to bring restoration and hope to families suffering from the reoccurring cycle of homelessness. One of the greatest and most devastating impacts to our society is the breakdown of the family unit. God ordained the family from the very beginning to be the foundation from which would stem the balance and fruitfulness needed to bring wholeness to life. While there are many causes for homelessness, one of the effects is the decay of the family. Restoration House of Houston envisions a community where those families suffering from the reoccurring cycle of homelessness are taught to follow principles that will provide quality of life to break that cycle and put an end to this vicious and troublesome nightmare.
